How do credits work?
Each API call costs a certain amount of credits, and that amount can vary. Some endpoints costs 0 credits, and the more expensive ones cost 25 credits. Most endpoints cost 0.25 to 1 credit. You can see how much a specific endpoint costs in credits in the description for the respective endpoint in the documentation.
Can I start on any plan and upgrade later?
Yes. When you upgrade, you will be given a coupon for the difference of from your previous subscription. For example, if you start on a $9 plan to upgrade to a $29 plan, the first month's invoice will be for $20 instead of $29. In order for this to work, don't cancel your subscription. Upgrade first, and we will automatically cancel your other subscriptions.
Can I pay in crypto?
Yes. Just select the upgrade button and then select the "Crypto" option.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. If you're paying via a card or Stripe, click "Manage" above under your plan and cancel it via the Stripe Dashboard. If you're paying with crypto, then simply ignore future invoices emailed to you.
Can I turn off auto-renew?
Yes. You can turn it off in your settings. When you turn it off, you will receive an invoice via your email instead of your card being automatically charged. Crypto payments do not auto-renew and you will receive an email for the monthly invoice regardless of your settings. Auto-renew is on by default.
Can I turn off metered usage?
Yes. You can turn it off in your settings. When you turn off metered usage, API requests will be rejected after using your reserved credits. When you turn on metered usage, API requests will be charged at the metered rate of your plan after you use all of your monthly reserved credits. Metered usage is on by default.
What happens when I use all of my reserved credits?
API requests will be charged at your plan's metered rate, or you can upgrade your plan. If you turned off metered usage, then API requests will be rejected after using all of your reserved credits for the month.
Can I downgrade later?
To downgrade your plan, email us and we'll take care of it for you.
Can I make a custom plan?
Yes, we frequently do custom plans. Please get in touch with us.
What happens to credits I don't use?
Unused credits expire and cannot be used in the successive periods.
